Marketing Programmes
With some assignments Bluebird is the Marketing Resource. In other projects we
operate as an extension of the client's marketing department. At one extreme
we work with an organisation to develop and implement an integrated marketing
campaign and ensure that the messages are coherent and consistent and being
delivered to the right 'target' audience. At other times we help in the different
areas of the marketing mix from database acquisition, mailshots, telemarketing -
through to the creation, print and production of sales collateral, trade shows and
seminars, corporate hospitality, web strategy, advertising and PR.
 
The Marketing Plan
The Marketing Plan is the cornerstone of any marketing programme. The value of
a Marketing Plan is that it co-ordinates and synchronises a number of activities
designed to create business opportunities and eventually orders. The Plan
represents an agreement between all involved parties and identifies resources,
timescales and effort. It will also indicate priorities and as a consequence the
timely production of relevant material - sales training, adverts, web site update
and press articles.
 
The Marketing Plan will include at least one lead generating activity and on some
occasions two or three. Such activities can encompass Direct Mail, Email
Marketing, events, seminars, press articles and advertising. The net result of such
activity is to create leads and provide hooks for Sales to work with.
